The natural wound healing process is engaged in the treated areas to begin the rejuvenation process. Your body responds to the micro-injuries by accelerating its production of collagen and elastin to repair and rejuvenate skin cells and remodel scar tissue whilst keeping the surrounding skin undamaged.
